Terms of use

Version of 5 October 2026. Written in plain words on purpose. These terms, the Privacy page and the price shown at checkout are the whole agreement between you and us; if the Pro page and these terms ever differ, these terms apply.

Who you are agreeing with

Trendentum is operated by Trendentum Pty Ltd (ACN 702 565 071, ABN 17 702 565 071), an Australian company, trading under its registered business name Trendentum. “Trendentum”, “we” and “us” below mean that company. Contact: support@trendentum.com. You must be 18 or over to hold an account.

What this is

Trendentum shows you what a fixed set of published rules say about the price history and public filings of stocks you name, and explains each in plain English. That includes six chart states (consolidating, broke out or down, pulled back in an uptrend, extended, breaking down, unusual day) and a count of what followed each one in the past - a description of where a price sits and what the record shows, never a view on what you should do about it. It also lets you lay out the facts about your own holdings in an order you choose; the order is yours and is not a ranking by Trendentum. The rules are on How the signals are computed. That is all it does.

What this is not

Your part

Trendentum Pro - the paid plan

Sharing

Public stock pages, link previews, the rule grid, and watchlists you choose to share are designed to be shared. They never contain your holdings, prices you paid, or returns. A shared watchlist shows its name and stock codes to anyone with the link, so name it accordingly. What you choose to post alongside any of these is yours.

Friends' links and rewards

Every account has a link to share. A person who creates an account from it starts with a longer period of Trendentum Pro than a new account otherwise gets; the current length is stated on the home page when they arrive on the link. When a reward for the sharer is on offer, the Account page says so and states the terms; when it is not, nothing is owed. A reward, when offered, is for a new account that adds its holdings and is still in use after the stated number of days, and a further amount if that account subscribes - never for the post itself. It is capped per year, is delivered as time on the sharer's account or as a credit against the sharer's subscription, has no cash value and cannot be transferred. Accounts made to claim a reward (including a person's own further accounts, or accounts on the same private email domain) earn nothing, and a reward already given for them may be withdrawn. A post that claims investment results, or tells people what to buy or sell, is not something Trendentum asked for, is not Trendentum's statement, and forfeits the reward for accounts created from it.

Whose it is

The site, the rules, the explanations and the design are ours or our licensors’. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial investing. Market data is supplied by third parties under licence; it is shown to you and may not be redistributed. What you enter - holdings, watchlists, names - stays yours. By sharing a watchlist you let us show its name and codes to anyone with the link until you stop sharing.

Sample contract notes

If you send us a contract note so that we can check how your broker lays out its notes, we read it for the layout only and do not keep it; black out your name and account number if you prefer. When a note is the first to let us check a broker that was not yet checked, we add a month of Trendentum Pro to your account, or the same value as a credit against your subscription, as a thank-you. One thank-you per broker; it has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and the Holdings page says which brokers are still open.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Trendentum Pty Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, anything on this site. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. If you are a consumer outside Australia, laws of your country that cannot be excluded still apply to you.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. For changes that matter to you we email you at least 14 days before they take effect, and if you do not accept them you can close your account or cancel Pro before then. Minor changes - wording, clarifications, new features that do not reduce what you have - take effect when posted; every change is listed on What changed and the version date at the top moves. Questions: support@trendentum.com. These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
